River Life along the Waterways of Holland and Belgium aboard M.S. Amacello
April 25 to May 3, 2010

Celebrate spring in the Dutch and Flemish countryside when fields of tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils transform the landscape into an exotic carpet of flowers. Travel north from Amsterdam through the intricate pattern of waterways, canals, and rivers that cross the "Low Countries". Discover how porcelain is made at the Royal Delft workshop, and visit a chocolatier in Bruges for a sampling of Belgium's famous chocolates. Tour the windmills at Kinderdijk, the medieval town of Middelburg, the Renaissance-baroque house where Rubens lived in Antwerp, and Keukenhof Gardens, the “world’s largest” flower garden. The M.S. Amacello has large cabins, many with French balconies. From $2,795.
