Annual Support Fund

Student hand building at SBMA art classThe mission of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art is to bring art into people’s lives, and thanks to the generous gifts made through our Annual Support Fund, we are able to do that in many ways.

Gifts made to the ASF enable us to present a variety of important and engaging exhibitions each year, including shows featuring great works from our own collection, as well as important visiting exhibitions.

Member event at California CallingContributions through the ASF have enabled us to present more free programming to the community than at any time in the last decade—to more than 3,000 families who might otherwise not have access to great original works of art.

The Museum has become the primary provider of visual-arts education in the public schools, thanks in part to many generous ASF contributions. These gifts also help to fund our extensive afterschool classes, workshops and events, which are provided free to over 1,000 participants.

Free Family Day at SBMAWe hope that you will consider a gift to the Museum so that we can continue to be a vibrant source of inspiration to our community and beyond.
